1 Abstract
This document specifies the default process for deploying new applications to the web at Simple and Fast. Applications following this process might be used for derivative customer-facing or internal-facing processes.

Deploying new compute is the process of:
- Understanding why compute is needed.
- Pinning the specific performance characteristics required.
- Budgeting the compute as a ratio of up-front versus ongoing expenditure.

3 Server specification
Our default compute provider is Hetzner. We use Hetzner dedicated servers bought in “Server Auction” as our main compute hosts and the Hetzner Storage Box solution to backup our servers.
